John is currently the Director of Service Delivery and Support with the University of Maine System IT team. His department includes a number of analysts, subject matter experts, service delivery leads, and helpdesk agents responsible for a wide variety of IT services, including the IT Help Desk, IT Service Management, core ERP, HR, and Student Information systems, the learning management system, CRM and marketing, web conferencing, video content management, document imaging, ITSM platform, communication and collaboration tools, and more. John is a member of the UMS:IT Leadership Team and works closely with key stakeholders at all levels of the University of Maine System.
Prior to his current role, John was Director of Campus Services and also the first person to fill the role of Solutions Analyst within the University of Maine IT department, and has a number of years of experience as a support analyst. Before joining the University of Maine, John worked for a local software company, filling a number of roles, including Subject Matter Expert, Quality Assurance, Training, Documentation, and Software Design.
John is a graduate of the 2016 Educause Leadership Institute.
