John Borne is Deputy CIO at Louisiana State University. He earned an MS in Information Systems from LSU, and a BS in Computer Science from Nicholls State University. As Interim CIO, he is responsible for guiding strategy related to enterprise information technology at LSU. Some of the initiatives John has been involved in recently include identity and access management, MFA, enterprise systems replacement, mainframe managed services, developing an autonomous risk management program, multi-institutional shared services, outsourcing, and Cloud solutions and architecture.
