John Corro is current the leader of the IT Forensics team at the Pennsylvania State University, Information Technology Services â€“ Security Operations and Services. During his seventeen year career in computer and network security, he supervised the PSU-Computer Incident Response Team (PSU-CIRT), worked with and assisted in investigations with various law enforcement officers and teams, was the primary computer forensic investigator, performed vulnerability analysis for both university and corporate clients and has served as an expert witness in the state of Pennsylvania. Before getting started in IT security, John worked as a system administrator and a network engineer. Before entering the world of computers, John graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. degree in Psychology with a focus on crisis counseling. When not working on computers, John practices the Japanese martial art of Kokikai Aikido and is attempting to raise two daughters under the guidance of his wife.
