Biography
After 30 years in higher education, I have retired. In my final position, I was the Senior Director of Academic Technology & User Services where I oversaw central offices providing the help desk and desktop support, computer labs and our Student Technology Center, classroom technologies, video production services, equipment loan, learning systems software (Canvas, etc.) and the Center for Instructional Innovation.
My primary interest is in digital literacies, faculty development and innovation.
I began presenting at EDUCAUSE in 2007 and am an alumnus of the EDUCAUSE Leadership Institute in 2011. I contribute to the EDUCAUSE Core Data Service and lead our institution's implementation of the ETRAC faculty and student surveys. I hold a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, an M.S. from Bloomsburg University, and a B.J. from the University of Nebraska.
