Biography

John has been with the University of Texas at Austin since 2009 and a member of the Information Security Office for the last 13+ years. He is the author & architect of dorkbot, and is otherwise best known as a former national champion competitive lockpicker and founding member of Longhorn Lockpicking, a DEF CON Uber badge-winning CTF competitor, and an active member of Austin Hackers Anonymous. He also loves to unplug and ride his bicycle or watch horror movies at his local theater as often as possible.
