John Harford
Biography
More than a decade ago, John began his higher education technology career at Columbia Business School with a focus on video production and standing up video streaming solutions. His scope grew into managing more complex production projects, along with identifying and supporting a wide range of instruction technology and media services. As demand grew for online lecture content, he promoted and developed strategies for successful adoption of course capture software. Having finished a Master’s in Instructional Technology and Media at Columbia University, John now works at Yale as Manager of Communication and Collaboration technologies developing services focused on multi-way videoconferencing, digital media capture and streaming, data collaboration, web-conferencing and web-casting, and real-time distributed collaboration and distance learning environments.
