Biography

John Kealy comes from a background in BioGeography and Plant Ecology, with work in computer modeling of plant ecological interactions over changing landscapes. So of course he builds websites now. He started his career at the Sierra Club, then at consulting firms working on well-known brands (Tiffany website, NYMoma, BestBuy, etc.). He’s been at the University of California, San Francisco, since 2001 in a variety of web developer role. Now as UCSF’s web services manager, he manages over 1,400 websites at UCSF and is responsible for accessibility and other related risks.
