Biography
Bert Lott teaches Classics and Media Studies at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. He has been involved in studying media and in the integration of new media technologies into teaching and learning throughout his career. Recently he has helped both to steer a major teaching and technology intitiative at Vassar and to establish a new academic program in Media Studies. In addition to his ongoing research on Roman ideologies of power and imperialism, Bert's current work lies in exploring the broader implications to Higher Education of changing information environments and economies.
