Mark Henry

Biography

Mark began his career working with Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman as a test engineer for 13 years in the defense industry and also completed his degree at Sam Houston State University during this time. In 1999, a career change brought about an opportunity to provide IT support for the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University. Since that time, Mark has designed and implemented several classroom and computer lab spaces to work with current technologies.  Mark also initiated one of the first mobile platforms for the College of Engineering through the introduction of low cost Chromebooks in the classroom paired with a VDI infrastructure to initally support over 1,200 students. Mark's current projects include the new 550,000 sq. ft. Zachry Engineering Education Complex which includes 32 classrooms and over 150 conferencing areas.  Mark also has been involved in technology selection for the new Texas A&M Rellis Campus.
