Johnny Inghilterra
Biography
Johnny Inghilterra is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Trinity College, where he leads the institution’s cybersecurity strategy and oversees the protection of critical data and digital infrastructure.
A strong advocate for diversity in technology, Johnny is especially passionate about increasing the representation of women in cybersecurity. He supports internship programs that create meaningful pathways for women to lead in the field.
He contributes to the broader cybersecurity community through roles on the EDUCAUSE CISO Community Group Steering Committee and as a facilitator for the NERCOMP Mentorship Program. He has also participated in professional groups focused on advancing cybersecurity in higher education.
Before joining Trinity, Johnny held a position at Apple Inc. and founded DealsOnDirect, a company that provided fulfillment and technology solutions for major e-commerce platforms including Groupon, LivingSocial, and nCrowd.
Earlier in his career, Johnny served as a lieutenant firefighter, with specialized training and certifications in incident response, emergency management, disaster preparedness, and related disciplines.
