Biography

John is the Senior Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Finance for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Princeton University.  He is responsible for leading all Talent Management initiatives as well as providing oversight on all Budget, Accounting and Finance initiatives.  In his Organizational Effectiveness role, he leads, facilitates, and provides hands on support for OIT's initiatives in learning and development, performance management, recruitment, rewards and recognition, and staff planning.   

Prior to joining Princeton University, John served for seven years as the Assistant Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Columbia University's Student and Administrative Services Department.  Prior to joining Columbia, he also worked for Citigroup for 15 years where he served as the Assistant Controller for Citicorp Investment Services for his last 5 years with the company.  John has  presented at a number of Educause, NJEDge and Ivy+ conferences.

John grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from NYU in 1987 and earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Seton Hall University in 2000.
