John Hurley

Biography

John S. Hurley is Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering, Facility Security Officer and former CIO and Assistant VP for Information Technology at Clark Atlanta University (CAU). In addition, he serves as Editor-at-Large of the publication, Gridtoday. Recent projects include engaging discussion on the viability of the “computational grid”, development of security platform for a culture-specific, distributed, distance learning system based on the single-learner multiple-teacher model, (AADMLSS); development of graphical user interfaces for users, developers, and distributors of components for NSF Middleware Initiative. John completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Howard University and earned a M.S. degree in Physics from Florida State University.
