Jack Widner is Reference and Systems Librarian for Edinboro University, where he is an Assistant Professor. He holds a Master's Degree in Library Science from Indiana University Bloomington, and has worked in both academic and public libraries both professionally and as support staff. At Edinboro University, he co-authored with Dr. Andrew Lawlor an article in Educause in Fall 1994 on relationships between libraries and campus computing centers across the State System of Higher Education (SSHE), now the PA-SSHE. In 1998 he oversaw Edinboro's conversion from a legacy system to its current system, Endeavor's Voyager. He continues to serve as Systems person for faculty & staff computing in the library while pursuing other scholarly interests.
