Biography

Johnny is currently the Principal Service Integration Engineer at Internet2 working on the Trust and Identity Operations team to serve the higher education and research community. Previously, he was Senior Manager of IT Services for the IT Development department at EDUCAUSE where he provided a wide range of website support and development as well as technical leadership on evolving offerings of the association. Johnny started his career in online learning and was able to apply those experiences into a multimedia skill set that opened the door to advertising and marketing opportunities across a range of industries. Before joining Educause in April 2013, Johnny was an interactive developer/producer building online ads, edit, and experiences in the publishing industry. He's worked across the stack and is able to give context and perspective to complex challenges. The common denominator in all of his roles has been his effortless ability to collaborate across projects and organizations, large or small. Johnny holds a Bachelors degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing and a Minor in Italian from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
