Jon Allen received a B.A in Political Science and an M.S. in Computer Science from Baylor University. Jon has worked in Information Technology Services at Baylor for over 15 years with experience in various IT infrastructure areas, as well as information security in which Jon was the founding staff member. Jon currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Baylor. He has been very involved numerous professional organizations including EDUCAUSE through committee work, publications, and presentations.

Version 2 of the HECVAT tool includes a range of accomplishments, changes, and improvements as part of Phase III of the tool’s development, and more activities are planned for 2019.
