Jonathan Mathews
Biography
Dr. Jonathan P. Mathews is an Assistant Professor of the Energy & Geo-Environmental Engineering department, and a Fellow of the John A. Dutton e-Education Institute within the College of Earth & Mineral Sciences at Penn State. He teaches a large enrollment class (400 students a semester) online to mostly campus-based undergraduate students. An innovative teacher (the innovation being not going to class) Dr. Mathews has passion and enthusiasm for the online environment. Perhaps enough so that it makes up for a complete lack of qualifications in teaching?EDUCAUSE Presentations
