Biography

Jordan Lott serves as the Senior Manager of Technology & Learning and IT Training at Pepperdine University, where he is dedicated to improving digital literacy and technology adoption for Faculty and Staff.

With extensive experience in generative AI, change management, and technology implementation, Jordan focuses on building the partnerships and relationships necessary to drive university-wide initiatives. He excels at breaking down complex technical concepts and building trust using clear, easy-to-understand communication to ease the concerns of even the most risk-averse stakeholders.

Jordan’s career at Pepperdine began in Audio/Visual Technologies and progressed through IT Communications, where he was a key player in the 2016 university-wide Google Workspace rollout. He later expanded the university's tech training offerings as Manager for IT Training before being promoted to his current senior role in 2022, where he led the university LMS transition from Sakai LMS to Canvas LMS and the rollout of Google Gemini to Staff and Faculty.

He holds an M.F.A. in Cinematic Media Production from Pepperdine and a B.M. in Sound Recording Technology from Texas State University, bringing a creative, human-centered vision to digital literacy and change management.
