Biography
Dr. Jose Marie Griffiths has a research and administrative career that spans 30 years. She was Vice President of King Research, Inc. directing research projects in the design, development and evaluation of advanced information systems, economics of information and information systems, scholarly communication, and the evolving information profession. Dr. Griffiths has held several leadership positions in academic institutions. Dr. Griffiths has extensive experience with the topic, is the principal investigator for the Collegis Leadership Alliance study she will be reporting, and has presented at numerous seminars on similar topics. Dr. Griffiths contributions have been recognized through numerous awards. These include the American Society for Information Science and Technologys Award of Merit and Research Award, Top 25 Women of the Web Award, Information Technology Associations of Michigan Award for contributions to the IT industry in Michigan, the University of Michigans Outstanding Leadership Award and the University of Tennessees Outstanding Faculty Award.EDUCAUSE Publications
