Joseph Yun is the Leader of Social Media Analytics for Technology Services, the central IT organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He manages the data mining of social media as well as data analytics for campus IT as a whole.
He holds a Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, and a Masters in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He is also pursuing a PhD in Informatics with a specific focus on Computational Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
His research interests include Computational Advertising, Choice Overload, Advertising Involvement, Mere Exposure Effect, Human-Computer Interaction, Social Media, and User Interface Design.
