Joyce Gordon

Biography

Joyce Gordon teaches Cell Biology to undergraduate students at the University of British Columbia. She also serves as a facilitator for Problem-Based Learning in the first year Dental (DMD) program at UBC. Joyce has taught courses in Microbial Ecology and Physiology, Introductory Microbiology, Introductory Biology and Cell and Molecular Biology at universities and colleges in Canada and the U.S. She earned a B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Illinois and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She maintains an active interest in innovative teaching strategies.
