Biography
Jt Chirco is Senior Manager of Computing at Rutgers University, where he is in charge of overseeing activities involving the large 400 member student workforce who run the twelve computer centers, work in the university Help Desk and act as Resnet consultants on the New Brunswick campus. To manage this staff, he has been the primary developer of an extensive hiring, training, evaluation and reward program. Jt has also been a lecturer for the Department of Computer Science for the past two decades, having taught over 15,000 students in the Intro to Computers course. He is the author of the programming textbook used in this course and was honored by Cook College in Spring 2002 with a Teaching Excellence award for his fine teaching. Jt earned both his B.S. and M.S in Computer Science at Rutgers.
