Biography
Judith V. Boettcher is a consultant and author in the areas of designing for learning, faculty development, and the future trends of technology in teaching and learning. Judith is currently at the University of Florida in Distance, Continuing and Executive Education and an independent consultant with Designing for Learning. Judith has consulted with a wide range of universities and organizations; has served on many conference boards, and has authored and co-authored/edited many columns, articles, and books addressing design and implementation issues of higher education technology and distance and online learning. She also served as the project leader for the Educational Uses of Information Technology (EUIT) Joe Wyatt Challenge EDUCOM project, 1990-1992, editing the publication 101 Success Stories of Information Technology in Higher Education: The Joe Wyatt Challenge, McGraw-Hill, 1993, while at Penn State University and as Executive Director of CREN for six years.EDUCAUSE Publications
