Judy Caruso

Biography

JUDITH BORRESON CARUSO is Director of Policy and Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has delivered papers and presentations on IT staffing, policy, governance, application system development and implementation, security, and student experiences with IT (for ECAR) at CAUSE, EDUCAUSE, CUMREC, and other venues. She chaired the EDUCAUSE Quarterly Editorial Committee in 2002, served on the EDUCAUSE Current Issues Committee and she was a CUMREC Vice President and board member. At the UW-Madison, Judy directs IT policy, legal issues, governance and accessibility issues in the Office of the CIO. Judy was an ECAR fellow from 2002-2011, serving for many years as the investigator on ECAR studies of students and IT.
