Biography
Judy O'Connell is Courses (Programs) Director for the School of Information Studies in the Faculty of Education at Charles Sturt University, Australia. Charles Sturt Univeristy is a multi-campus organisation located in several locations in Australian, and Burlington, Ontario. Judy has responsibility for a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including two in education: Master of Education (Teacher Librarianship) and Master of Education (Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation). Her professional leadership experience spans primary school, secondary school and tertiary education, with a focus on libraries, social media, digital innovation, learning frameworks, and new directions for knowledge networks in digitally enriched environments. Before commencing at CSU, Judy was Head of Library and Information Services at St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill, Sydney, and prior to that she was an Education Consultant in Library and Web 2.0 developments for 80 primary and secondary schools in the Western Region of Sydney.
