Biography

Julia E. Barker Paredes is currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Georgia Gwinnett College. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Miami in May 2006 working in the laboratory of Dr. Tong Ren, currently at Purdue University. She also holds a B.A. from Bellarmine College in both Chemistry and Biology. Her research interests lie in the fields of catalytic oxygenation, instructional technology, technology-based chemical modeling and curriculum.
