Julia Leon

Biography

Julia Leon, a lead programmer at Emory University ITD, is the application administrator Blackboard. She has been developing Web applications since 1995. She has implemented electronic text sites, such as the Oxford English Dictionary, with the Lewis H. Beck Center for Electronic Services. Her primary technology interest is publishing XML on the web with open-source software. She is also exploring the use of XML metadata. In her more than 20 years of experience in programming, she has gained knowledge of systems analysis, data administration, and object oriented programming.
