Biography
Julia Shaw-Kokot, Assistant Department Head for User Services and Education Services Coordinator, Health Sciences Library. Julia has worked in health sciences libraries since graduating from the School of Library and Information Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill. Her experience includes both academic and Area Health Education Center libraries. Since coming to UNC Chapel Hill in 1991, she has been involved in providing education and training at the Health Sciences Library. Her job involves working with a team of dedicated individuals to design and develop education and information services for a diverse group of on and off campus users. Her team provides face to face and web based instruction and curriculum support, including e-reserves. Julia also serves as liaison to the School of Nursing.
