Julie Journitz, currently Director of Client Services at Pomona College in Claremont, California, has had extensive experience in customer support issues in many fields. Julie began work in art museums to automate several of their processes including Collections, Membership and Development and Accounting. Springboarding from her museum experience, she then worked as a Systems Consultant for Wang Laboratories, eventually going out on her own to develop applications and provide training and support to her customers. After working for vendors and as a vendor, Julie joined the academic world of Information Technology at the University of Notre Dame.
After serving as Director of Computing for the College of Arts and Letters at Notre Dame, Julie joined Pomona College where she plays a role in providing guidance, consultation and assistance in policy development in order to provide Pomona College with effective and efficient customer service and standardization of service delivery.
