Biography

Julie Wernert is an Information Manager for University Information Technology Services at Indiana University.  She has worked in various administrative and public-facing roles since joining IU in 1992, including Manager for External Communications, and currently oversees several large-scale evaluation and assessment efforts at both the national and university levels. Presently, she serves on the Evaluation and Strategy Team for the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE), the National Science Foundation-funded cyberinfrastructure project, as well as the PEARC17 organizing committee. Julie attended Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, where she studied Business, with a focus on Marketing, and Music.
