Julie Kercher-Updike is the Associate Vice President for Customer Relations in Information Technology at Purdue University. The Customer Relations unit of ITaP serves as the primary contact between customers and the ITaP technology units. The Customer Service Center provides ITaP customers access via phone, email, and walk-in service. The Customer Relations unit, through the Desktop Computer Services Group, provides desktop support, maintenance and repair service for most Intel-based PC and Apple computers and peripheral equipment to faculty and staff in University departments on the West Lafayette campus. The Customer Education group provides educational opportunities to assist faculty and staff to more effectively use desktop software and Purdue business applications in their work. She has worked at Purdue for more than 20 years. Prior to receiving her Bachelorâs Degree from Purdue in Computer Science she worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation as a Manager of Data Services.
