Justin Alexander

Biography

Dr. Justin L. Alexander is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education Leadership at Delaware State University, where he also earned his Ed.D. and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. His research seeks to better understand how institutions shape their identity and advance equity through the interconnected themes of culturally responsive teaching and global learning communities, organizational dynamics and educational leadership, and AI integration and pedagogical innovation. He has more than a decade of professional policy and research experience across P–20 as a K–12 educator and higher education professional. He has been recognized for his research as a faculty-in-Residence within the Commission for Global Dimensions of Student Development (CGDSD) for the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). Dr. Alexander has also collaborated with educators and community stakeholders to address systemic inequities, support student success, and lead equity-centered initiatives through workshops, training, and advocacy across diverse P–20 educational contexts.
