Justin Gatewood

Biography

Dr. Justin Gatewood is from the United States and has been a California public higher education technology leader for over 20 years. Prior to that, he oversaw medical diagnostic imaging systems technology implementations, consulted and managed locations for national organizations, worked at Dialup Internet Service Providers (mid-late 90s) and was a Senior Intelligence Analyst and Cryptologic Technician for the U.S. Naval Security Group Command where he deployed four times in support of forces in Iraq, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Somalia and held a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. He holds the following certifications: CISSP, PMP, GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, GSTRT, SSAP & GDSA, is a member of the SANS GIAC Advisory Board, and is currently working to complete a Master of Science degree in Information Security Engineering at the SANS Technology Institute. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business - Information Technology Management and a Master of Education, Learning & Technology degree from Western Governors University, as well as a Doctoral degree focused on Organizational Change & Leadership from the University of Southern California. He currently lives in the Mojave Desert of Southern California.
