Biography

I’ve spent more than 25 years in higher education working at the intersection of technology, people, and institutional decision-making. My career has included leadership roles in both information technology and academic administration, giving me a perspective that bridges technical systems, academic programs, and the operational realities of colleges and universities.

In senior roles across higher education and technology, I’ve led initiatives focused on student success, enrollment and retention, workforce alignment, operational effectiveness, and fiscal sustainability. My work blends technology strategy, data analytics, budgeting, and operational planning to support better decisions about scheduling, staffing, programs, and investments.

A significant part of my work involves building partnerships between higher education and industry to align programs with workforce needs and emerging technologies. I also work closely with faculty on curriculum development and program improvement, connecting academic expertise with employer insight to strengthen student preparation for the workplace.

More recently, I have been leading work within my institution on the responsible use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. I am guiding development of an institutional AI governance and strategy framework designed to align faculty innovation, operational systems, compliance considerations, and institutional priorities.
