Biography
Katherine has a B.S. in Computer Science (NC State University) and is a senior systems analyst for the Data Administration - Data Warehouse department at Arizona State University. Her professional background in information systems extends over a decade. Early experience developing and maintaining client-server applications for peer to peer processes, and later leading the implementation of web accessible database applications has helped cultivate her continually expanding knowledge base. Today, her ASU Retention Project work challenges her to meet client needs specific to the educational community she serves. She finds this newest venture into the post-secondary education arena very rarely fitting the 'one-solution' model, but believes that's one reason why the outcomes are so far-reaching and rewarding.
