Kathleen Brautigam

Biography

Kathleen Brautigam is currently an independent consultant focusing on Educational Technology policy, planning, and practice. She serves on regional, state, and national advisories as an advocate for 21st Century teaching and learning. The former Director of the Bureau of Educational Technology of the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education. Kathleen’s work for the Commonwealth includes support for interagency federal and state grant initiatives, and service on state and national policy advisories. She has had the opportunity to testify before state and federal legislative committees on the effectiveness of Pennsylvania’s educational technology initiatives. Mrs. Brautigam received a B. S. in Education from the College of New Jersey and a M.S. in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University. She has served as adjunct graduate level faculty for Bloomsburg University, Duquesne University and Millersville University.
