Biography
Katy Hendry has 7 years of Higher Education experience ranging in areas such as advanced preparedness for at risk undergraduate level students (specializing in mathematics), grant funded educational programs, professional development, leadership, project management, office management, distance learning initiatives, and instructional design. Through her wide range of exposure to different areas within the higher education spectrum, Ms. Hendry is a well-balanced individual with the ability handle multiple projects and deadlines and who is always willing to learn, grow, and help.
Ms. Hendry’s areas of expertise are, distance learning, program/course/curriculum design, educational integrity, project management, teaching, training, consulting and e-Learning. Through her experiences working in both 2-year and 4-year (private and public) regionally accredited institutions, Ms. Hendry has gained a wealth of knowledge regarding organizational structure and design to fit the needs of different institutions and learning environments.
Ms. Hendry is the lead designer for BS in Transportation program, Physics and Meteorology courses, as well as Campus Director Training Modules. Ms. Hendry's long term goals are to continue building and designing educational courses, curriculum development, as well as teach in a higher education institution in addition to pursuing her doctoral degree in educational design.
