
Kathryn Zawisza
Biography
Dr. Kathryn Zawisza is the associate CIO for Campus Partnerships at the University of Arkansas where she is responsible for leading strategy and engagement for technology-related relationships and enabling the University to realize enterprise priorities through leveraging shared expertise and common standards. Zawisza strives to promote collaboration between IT services and the campus community, increase innovative uses of technology, and drive efforts to provide a consistent experience of technology across campus for faculty, students, and staff. Previously, Kathryn was the Director of Academic Technology at the U of A and a key member of Teaching Innovation and Pedagogical Support (TIPS), a collaborative partnership that took a participatory approach to faculty development. She has a masters of liberal arts from Henderson State University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the U of A where she also teaches in the Philosophy department.
