Kathy Kral

Biography

Kathy was named the first CIO at the University of West Georgia in 2008. She joined the IT staff at West Georgia in 1991, and has served in many roles over the years, from developing the first Help Desk to Unix systems administration. In her current role Kathy is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the technology enterprise.  Kathy holds a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology from Michigan State University, a Masters Degree in Immunology from Wayne State University, and a Post-Bachlor Degree in Computer Science, also from Wayne State University.
