Biography
Kay Wijekumar has extensive experience in web-based distance learning and intelligent tutoring programs.
She has developed over 40 web-based distance education courses using all the
available technologies. She has also taught web-based de courses. She currently collaborates with Dr. B.J.F. Meyer in creating a web-based intelligent tutoring system for the Structure Strategy. Currently
she is Assistant Professor of Information Sciences at The Pennsylvania State
University Beaver Campus.Kay hold a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a PhD in Instructional Systems from The Pennsylvania State University. Her
research interests are on the effects of computer technologies on problem
solving and learners.
