Biography

Kelly Cummins currently serves as the Director of Campus Solutions at the University of Texas System Office. In this role, he oversees the PeopleSoft student information system (SIS) for the UT campuses across the state of Texas.  He serves on multiple governance committees and works with the Enrollment Management Offices at the UT Campuses to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the SIS.

Kelly has over 20 years of IT experience, 15 of which has been in Higher Education and Healthcare, and 8 has been within the private sector. He has served as the CIO of a multi-million-dollar, international manufacturing and sales organization; but found his calling within the mission of Higher Education. Within Higher Education, Kelly has served on the IT Leadership teams at Southern Illinois University, where he led the Technology Services department and at the University of Texas System office.

Kelly serves as a leader within his organization, actively mentoring and coaching staff, helping staff achieve both career and personal goals.

In his personal life, Kelly enjoys spending time with his family, traveling across the country, visiting our beautiful national parks.
