Kendra Nalubega-Booker

Biography

Kendra Nalubega-Booker is a University of Illinois Doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Language and Literacy and Education Technology. She is also a Distinguished Graduate Fellow at the University of Illinois Graduate College and at Diversifying Higher Education Faculty in Illinois (DFI). Her research interests include African-born immigrant youths, specifically from Anglophone sub-Saharan Africa, and their experiences while transitioning in the U.S. education system. She also has a passion for Education Technology and its potential to enhance literacy in marginalized communities. https://www.linkedin.com/in/zam-kendra-nalubega-08
