Kenny Rigler
Biography
My name is Kenny Rigler and I am originally from Callaway, NE. I graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2003 with a degree in Industrial Technology Education. From there I took a job in Osawatomie, KS teaching high school cabinetmaking, drafting/CAD, and animation graphics. During my third year at Osawatomie we implemented a One-to-One laptop program with Gateway Tablet PCs. I then accepted a position as Technology Integration Specialist and became the director of the one-to-one initiative. During my time at Osawatomie I completed my Master of Instructional Technology virtually from FHSU. In the Spring of 2006 I was offered a position in the Center for Teaching Excellence and Learning Technologies at Fort Hays State University. I worked in that role for a year doing support and training for faculty as they integrated technology into their on campus and off campus classes. The following year, Spring of 2007, I was offered a faculty position in the Department of Technology Studies and am now teaching classes full-time. I currently teach a combination of industrial and instructional technology classes.EDUCAUSE Presentations
