Dr Kevin Hulett

Biography

As AVP of Technology Services, Dr. Hulett provides leadership in the use of technology to provide value in pursuit of increasing student learning outcomes through innovative technology resources that inspire and drive the self-efficacy of students, faculty, and staff.  His leadership is focused on improving the campus experience, strategic planning of future technology direction, service delivery, administrative support, vendor management, and ensuring the security, availability, confidentiality, and integrity of the university’s data resources.

In his 19 years at OSU Institute of Technology, Dr. Hulett has served as Adjunct Faculty, Server Administrator, Director of Distance Learning, Assistant Director, and Director prior to his current role of AVP.

Dr. Hulett studied Electrical Engineering at Oklahoma State University and University of Tulsa prior to completing his baccalaureate degree in Information Assurance and Forensics at OSU Institute of Technology.  He received his Master of Education in Educational Technology from the American College of Education and completed his PhD in Leadership with a concentration in Information Systems Security at the University of the Cumberlands.

Kevin looks at the world through the dual lenses of the Arts and Technology. Prior to his higher education career, Kevin managed concert tours world-wide with the USO and multiple platinum selling Sony Music recording artists.
