Kevin Mayne

Biography

Kevin M.R. Mayne has been in the field of higher education for 32 years and currently serves as the Vice President of Enrollment Management at Becker College where he oversees admissions, registrar and marketing. He also co-chairs the College's Center for Global Citizenship. Becker is ranked as one of the Top 378 Colleges in the United States (Princeton Review). Prior to Becker College, Kevin served as the Senior Vice President of Mitchell College in New London, CT. He was at Mitchell for 17 years and oversaw the areas of Enrollment Management, Marketing and Advancement (Admissions, Financial Aid, Public Relations, Alumni & Development). Under his leadership, the college’s enrollment more than doubled, fund raising reached an all-time high, and they were able to re-brand the institution to expand nationally. As a result of his commitment to working with at-risk students, he created Mitchell’s innovative PG Year program, Thames Academy. Kevin previously served as Dean of Admissions/Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT. He earned both his B.A. (psychology/art therapy) and M.B.A. (management/marketing) from Anna Maria College, Paxton, MA. In addition he has completed advanced graduate studies in the areas of management, leadership & curriculum design. The winner of numerous national awards for his work in publications design and advertising, Kevin is a frequent guest lecturer in the areas of institutional branding, staff development/team building, learning disabilities and developmental education. He is the Past President of the Board of Directors for Learning Disabilities Worldwide, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the educational, professional, and personal outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities.
