Khusro Kidwai
Biography
I am a Research Associate at the John A. Dutton e-Education Institute. My work focuses on the design and research of online learning. I received the Ph.D. degree from the Instructional Systems program at The Pennsylvania State University in 2009. I have recently published a book based on my doctoral work: Extending Interactions with Electronic Text: A Design-Based Research Investigation of a Web-based Reading Environment I participate in various instructional design teams that support online courses in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University. My research interests include the design and research of Web-based learning environments. In my work I attempt to bring to bear an understanding of learning science and instructional design principles, and current Web technologies. I have published several peer-reviewed articles and I frequently present research and instructional design projects at national conferences.EDUCAUSE Presentations
