Kim Rynearson

Biography

Kimberly Rynearson is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Tarleton State Univeristy. Dr. Rynearson's research has focused on methods for effective online instruction and on identifying characteristics of successful online learners. In addition to her full-time role as a faculty member, Dr. Rynearson also has served as the Director of the Center for Instructional Technology and Distributed Education and has developed eight graduate and undergraduate Psychology courses for online delivery. Additionally. she has served on several univeristy committees related to instructional technology strategic planning. Most recently she assisted in the writing of Tarleton State University's report on Distance Education Programs, which was approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Dr. Rynearson completed her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at the Texas Tech University, where she also earned a master's degree in Experimental Psychology. She also holds a Master of Education in Adult Education and Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix.
