Hello! I am Dr. Koichi Sato. I serve as a Learning Designer at the University of South Florida, where my daily mission is to apply “design magic” to instructional expertise to improve student learning outcomes. With an EdD in online learning, I have spent my career at the intersection of pedagogy and technology, ensuring that digital tools serve the learner, not the other way around. My work is grounded in high standards and evidence-based results. I am certified to perform internal QM (Quality Matters) reviews, which allows me to evaluate and design courses that meet the most rigorous benchmarks for quality and accessibility in higher education. Living and working in St. Petersburg, Florida, I see firsthand how rapidly the educational landscape is shifting. My goal is to bridge the gap between academic research and the fast-paced world of EdTech, offering you the strategies needed to build smarter, next-generation learning environments.
