Kolin Hodgson

Biography

Kolin Hodgson, Research Security and Compliance Program Manager at the University of Notre Dame, brings over two decades of cybersecurity and compliance expertise to his role. His career spans diverse sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare, giving him a broad perspective on the challenges of maintaining compliance. A graduate of Indiana University, Kolin holds a CISSP certification from the International Information System Security Certification Consortium and most recently earned the CMMC Registered Practitioner certification.

A sought-after speaker, Kolin presents on cybersecurity and compliance at professional conferences, training sessions, and as a guest lecturer for university computing and information security courses.

Outside of work, Kolin enjoys craft brewing, playing music in a local band, and restoring stringed instruments, from guitars to mandolins.
