Kostas Yfantis
Biography
Kostas Yfantis works as Manager of Teaching and Learning Services at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He manages a team whose members provide support including training and consulting to faculty, students and staff using Blackboard Learn as well as a set of other IT services. He has worked in the field of educational technology since 1994. He believes in the transformative potential of information technology to help higher education institutions enact their teaching, learning, research, outreach and economic development missions. His experience includes working in Greece and the fast-paced Silicon Valley start-up environment as well as serving as Chair of the Council of Academic Professionals at Illinois.EDUCAUSE Presentations
