Biography

Hello Colleagues! My career in higher education spans 14 years and four institutions. I currently serve as Dean, Academic Compliance and Educational Policy, for Dallas College. I also adjunct online, teaching undergraduate and graduate psychology courses for South College. My previous roles at Tarrant County College and Western Governors University focused on quality assurance and compliance related to online modality/ distance education. One of my most memorable projects involved designing, staffing, and continuously improving the e-Faculty Coaching Program. This program partnered a coach with a background in instructional design with online faculty to provide ongoing, timely support. The program was seperate from any formal evaluation/ performance processes. I truly enjoyed building collegial relationships and seeing our faculty fluorish!

When not working, researching, or writing, I enjoy traveling and interacting with wildlife. I consider myself an amateur photographer, keen on capturing beauty in nature. I reside in north Texas with my husband and four (!) dogs.
